| Most people would not think about putting an indoor fountain in their home. After all, water can be quite destructive to the interior of a home. We work to keep it out with exterior water barriers and work to keep it contained with sinks, tubs, pipes, cups and glasses inside. An indoor fountain can be a nice addition to anyone’s home however.
There are not many people who have the luxury of living right near water whether that water be a lulling river or a crashing ocean and therefore, do not have the advantage of that great soothing water sound all year round. For this reason, many people bring the soothing sound of water into their homes via an indoor fountain.
There are many types of indoor fountains that are just perfect for the home. Usually indoor fountains are of the table or wall variety. However, there are free standing ones as well. Although the types of indoor fountains may be limited, the materials, sizes and styles aren’t – there is an indoor fountain out there to fit everyone’s budget, taste and living space.
The cost of your indoor fountain will depend on whether you choose one that has been made for the mass market or whether you find someone to create a unique, individual piece just for you. Another factor that will determine the cost of your indoor fountain will be the size. Of course the smaller table versions are going to be less expensive than the larger wall or free standing indoor fountains. One other factor that will determine the cost of your indoor fountain is the material in which your indoor fountain is made of. Resin fountains (an imitation stone-like material) will be much cheaper than a real indoor stone fountain. Metal fountains will also vary in price depending on the caliber of the metal.
