It's beautiful copper frame surrounds thin veneers of convex-shaped slate which have been carefully carved from a larger, thicker slab. The result is an ultra-light slate panel with a slight curvature, presenting all of the beauty and elegance of classic slate, but without the added weight. The fountain is highlighted by delicate lighting across the top of the outside of the framing, providing a serene "halo" effect which gently illuminates behind the top of the unit, adding to the fountain's gentle ambience. Additionally, the copper framing is powder coated for a lasting finish.
